The members of the LOCH SPORT BOAT CLUB invite everyone to come to the club on Grand Final Day for a great afternoon.  Wear your football jumper even if your team is not in the final.  Order your pies for half time on arrival and enter the guessing competitions.

We are a child friendly club being a level 3 good sports club

the bar will be open and the fire on if it is cold.

New Committee planning for next season

The AGM was held on June 9th and a new committee elected.  While the club is resting over winter the committee will be planning the program for the new sailing social season.

Everyone is invited to a BYO BBQ from 12 noon that same day

This Weekend Marlay Point and more

This weekend coming up at the LOCH SPORT BOAT CLUB Friday from 12 noon club bar will be open as some Marlay Point sailors may call in on their way to Marlay Point. Come along and welcome visitors. Saturday Morning – Morning tea 10 am all welcome Saturday sailing from 10am Saturday afternoon leaving on a cruise for the weekend more info from Greg following Thursday 14th March our club will be hosting the Sale to Sea Disability Kayak Challenge paddlers for Lunch, anyone who can come along to greet the visitors and maybe help out with lunch would be very welcome. Cruise The next event on our sailing program is the overnight cruise on Saturday the 9th of March and Sunday the 10th of March at 2pm for our trailer sailors and powerboats. Expected time of departure on Saturday from Loch Sport will be early afternoon The forecast for Saturday is south easterley winds between 10 – 15 knots and a top temperature of 26 degrees on Saturday and north easterley winds between 5-10 knots and a top temperature of 30 degrees on Sunday Saturday morning sailing will be held on Saturday starting at 10 am for our local sailors both young and old. LOCH SPORT BOAT CLUB The next event on our sailing program is the overnight cruise to Paynesville for the Paynesville Music Festival to be held on Friday the 22nd of February to Sunday the 24th of February for our trailer sailors and power boats . Expected time of departure on Friday from Loch Sport will be early afternoon The forecast for the Friday is south easterley winds between 5 – 10 knots and a top temperature of 23 degrees The forecast for the Sunday is easterley winds between 10-15 knots increasing to 15 -20 knots in the late afternoon and a top temperature of 29 degrees I have attached a copy of the program for the free entertainment on the barge and the venue entertainment . Cruise to Paynesville Music Festival

The Paynesville Music Festival is held from 6.30 Friday 22nd February to 4pm Sunday 24th February.  Club members will be cruising to Paynesville in that time. 

A day trip is worth it as events start from 12 noon Saturday and Sunday.  Free entertainment on the Barge in the Strait.  Overnight berths at Progress Jetty with showers on the foreshore.  Contact Greg for more information 0407 833 933

The Loch Sport Boat Club invite entries in the Pulse Credit Union 2018 Catamatan Challenge.

A 20 to 30 nautical mile event for OTB catamarans will be conducted on the waters of Lake Victoria at Loch Sport on Saturday 3rd November 2018.
