Sail Training

We provide a Sail Training Program to help promote safe & fun sailing for all ages. The program is held for 1 week over the Summer Holidays and has been a tremendous success in the years since it was introduced. We also offer a Junior Sponsorship Program for Loch Sports Local kids to encourage them to get into Sailing. Our Club has several members qualified as sailing instructors led by a very dedicated member in Barry Phillips who has put much of his own time into not only developing the program, but achieving the qualifications to perform the actual training also. Course Covers: 1) Safety 2) Line Work 3) Basic Weather 4) Rigging and De-Rigging 5) and of Course - sailing.
