Safe Harbour in Loch Sport-The LSBC has put forward a proposal to wellington shire to form a Safe Harbour at the deep water jetty area, this would be built in stages starting with a rock groyne at Lerna Point to increase the small protected area, then extend this to protect the existing Deep Water Jetty and the boat ramp. Later mooring jetties would be installed for visiting boats or permanent moorings at a fee. This fee would be necessary to upkeep the harbour infrastructure.
