The LOCH SPORT POKER RUN ON THE GIPPSLAND LAKES held last Saturday was again a very enjoyable family day, although strong winds kept the course to the Loch Sport side of Lake Victoria.

POKER RUN planning is underway for February 13, this is a great day out with a chance to win $1000, breakfast lunch & dinner provided for 2 people on board your own boat and a poker hand $130, extra hands can be purchased by skippers and extra people on board $50 with children under 12 free 15-18 $15 each.

The LOCH SPORT POKER RUN ON THE GIPPSLAND LAKES was again a very enjoyable family day, although strong winds kept the course to the Loch Sport side of Lake Victoria. 22 boats set out with a yacht amongst the power boats, over 100 people attended the evenings celebrations at the Lochsport Boat Club.

Bandits Pirates and poker cards were the theme for the best dressed boats and crew at the Fourth annual Poker Run on the Gippsland Lakes at Loch Sport. A family from Berwick holding up their poker SWAT number for the judging past the jetty.

The Poker Run held on Saturday 25th February was a great success with 25 boats traveling the course to pick up their secret cards in envelopes, with lunch at Pt Wilson catered by the Loch Sport Red Cross.

They came from all over Victoria. An invasion of colourful fibreglass and shiny metal that converted this otherwise sleepy beach town into the centre of attention for passionate boaters for two hot days in February. The event; The Loch Sport Poker Run on the Gippsland Lakes, has debuted with brilliant results all round. The place; Loch Sport, nestled in the heart of a long stretch of white sandy beach between Lake Victoria on the Gippsland Lakes and the Ninety Mile Beach…better known as Victoria’s Riviera.
